ERASMUS APP
Our university is fully committed to implement the European Student Card Initiative and promote the use of the programme’s Erasmus+ mobile App to its students. For this purpose, by 2021, we will manage inter-institutional agreements and online learning agreements, by 2022, we will send and receive student nominations and acceptances, by 2023, we will exchange transcripts of records related to student mobility by using the Erasmus+ mobile App and the Erasmus Without Paper network. We undertake that by using the European Student Card, students will have easy access to course materials prior to their mobility, online course registration and automatic recognition of ECTS credits. Students will also have immediate access to services at our university, such as libraries, transport and accommodation. Students will have discounts on cultural activities as well. We believe that the European Student Card Initiative will mean an easy, online management of the entire mobility process – from student selection to the recognition of ECTS credits It will entail online identification of students, simplified and secure exchange of student data – including academic records – between Higher Education Institutions, and reduced administrative burden associated with student mobility. We have joined the Erasmus Dashboard and activated our Inter-Institutional Agreement Manager. In the forthcoming years, we will make use of all the entities within the Erasmus digital ecosystem: Erasmus Dashboard, Online Learning agreement, Erasmus Virtual Assistant, Erasmus+ mobile App, Online Linguistic Support, Inter-Institutional Agreement Manager, European Student Card, Student Information System, Erasmus without Paper, Online Linguistic Support. Of these new possibilities, the University of Nyíregyháza will inform our staff and students via institutional internal communication, and we will organise workshops and other training events to familiarise people with these new developments.From 2021 onwards, we will organise Erasmus Open Days to help students and staff familiarise themselves with the Erasmus app.
